  • Support capital budgeting processes across IronVale's portfolio, comparing investment opportunities between iron ore optimisation and lithium development
  • Prepare detailed financial presentations and briefing materials for executive leadership, board meetings, and potential investors
  • Collaborate with our engineering and operations teams to validate cost assumptions and operational parameters
  • Monitor lithium market trends and pricing forecasts to inform project economics
  • Assist with quarterly financial reporting and variance analysis for existing operations
  • Support due diligence activities and engage with external advisors including investment banks and independent engineers

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (graduated within the last 2 years)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling, scenario analysis, and data visualisation
  • Understanding of discounted cash flow analysis, NPV/IRR calculations, and capital budgeting principles
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level presentations
  • Interest in the resources sector and critical minerals value chain
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities
  • Australian working rights and willingness to occasionally travel to project sites

Preferred but not essential: Experience with financial software such as @RISK or Crystal Ball for Monte Carlo analysis, CFA Level 1 candidacy, or internship experience in resources, investment banking, or corporate finance.

What We Offer

  • Competitive graduate salary package of $75,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation
  • Comprehensive graduate development program with structured mentoring and rotation opportunities
  • Direct exposure to major project development and M&A activities
  • Professional development support including CFA study assistance and conference attendance
  • Flexible working arrangements with hybrid work-from-home options
